For ourselves and those around us, we cannot continue to be silent in the face of violence in any community or discrimination of any people. Like Bayard Rustin said, “If we desire a society of peace, then we cannot achieve such a society through violence. If we desire a society without discrimination, then we must not discriminate against anyone in the process of building this society…”

As one another’s brother and sister, neighbor and colleague, friend and lover, we must do our parts by showing one another a little more kindness; questioning yourselves when thoughts of bigotry and prejudice arise within us; boldly moving toward difficult conversations even when it’s scary; and taking time for yourselves our cups “runneth over”. We must all do our parts in helping move the needle toward a more loving and connected world for ourselves, our families and our communities. We can change the world, one relationship at a time. πŸ’―πŸ‘ŠπŸΎπŸ’ͺ🏾❀
